Why I do this work

Grief does not only live in the mind. It sits in the chest, the throat, the shoulders, and no amount of thinking your way through it quite reaches the place it is actually sitting. Breath does reach it.

This work is not about managing a feeling or getting past it on a schedule. It is about letting what is there move, at its own pace, with someone beside you. That is what I hold space for here in London: a place where you do not have to be composed, and where what you are carrying is allowed to be as heavy as it actually is.

Most of the people who find me are grieving. Some are burnt out, or standing at the end of something and unsure what comes next. Some simply feel disconnected from themselves and cannot explain why. All of that belongs here.

Ways to work with me in London

There is no single right way in. Some people start with a circle because a room full of strangers feels easier than being the only one in it. Others want to be met privately from the very first breath. Both are good beginnings.

Where sessions happen

I hold private sessions and small gatherings in my home studio here in London, Ontario. It is a quiet, private room rather than a clinic or a gym, which is deliberate. This work asks you to let your guard down, and that is far easier somewhere that feels like a home than somewhere that feels like an appointment.

The exact address is shared once your session is booked, for the privacy of everyone who comes here.

Larger circles and events are held at partner venues around the city, and the location is always listed with the event. If you are further away, or if leaving the house feels like too much right now, sessions online work genuinely well. Breath travels.

What a breathwork session feels like

If you have never done this before, here is honestly what to expect. No surprises, nothing performative, and nothing asked of you that you have not agreed to.

  1. We talk first

Before any breathing, we sit and talk. What brought you here, what you are carrying, anything in your health history I should know. There is no assessment and no form to perform your way through. I just need to understand you well enough to guide you properly.

  2. You lie down and we begin

You lie on a mat with a blanket and, if you want one, something over your eyes. Music comes on. I guide a breathing pattern out loud and stay with you the whole way. You do not have to remember anything. You just follow my voice.

  3. Something moves

This part is different for everyone. Some people cry. Some feel tingling in the hands or a wave of heat. Some see images or sense someone they have lost. Some feel nothing dramatic at all and simply notice, afterwards, that something has loosened. None of those is the wrong result.

  4. We come back slowly

The breathing stops and you rest. Then we talk about what came up, if you want to. I never rush this part and I never send anyone out of the door still wide open. You leave steady, with something small to practise at home if you want it.

You can read more about what breathwork actually is if you would like the longer explanation first.

Common questions

Is breathwork safe for beginners?
Yes. Breathwork is suitable for most people and no experience is needed. Most people who come to me have never done it before, and you do not need any flexibility or spiritual background to start. I guide the whole session out loud, so there is nothing to memorise and nothing to get right. You stay in control the entire time and can slow down or stop whenever you want. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, please check with your doctor first and mention it when you book, so we can shape the session around you.
What should I bring to a session?
Very little. Wear something loose and comfortable that you can lie down in, and bring a water bottle. I provide mats, bolsters, blankets and eye covers. Some people bring a journal for afterwards, or a photograph of someone they are grieving. If you are coming to a session about loss, bring whatever helps you feel close to that person. Nothing else is needed.
How long is a breathwork session?
Session length varies depending on whether you are booking a private session, a group circle or a corporate session, and it is confirmed when you book. Every session includes time to talk before we begin, the breathwork itself, and unhurried time afterwards to come back slowly and talk through what surfaced. The breathing is never the longest part. What happens afterwards matters just as much, and I do not rush it.
Do you offer grief support in London, Ontario?
Yes. Grief is the heart of most of my work. I support people who have lost a partner, a parent, a child, a sibling or a friend, and people carrying losses that are harder to name. I am not a therapist and I do not offer clinical treatment. What I offer is breathwork, meditation and spirit-led mentorship as a way to feel what you are carrying, in your body, with someone beside you. Many people work with me alongside a counsellor rather than instead of one.
Can I book a private one-to-one session?
Yes. Private sessions are the most personal way to work together, in person in London or online. We start with a consultation so I understand what you are moving through and can shape the session around it. You can book that conversation through the site, and there is no obligation to continue afterwards.
Do you run corporate breathwork sessions in London?
Yes. I bring breathwork and guided meditation into workplaces across London and southwestern Ontario, for teams under sustained pressure, for wellness days, and for organisations supporting staff through a difficult period. Sessions are designed for people in ordinary work clothes in an ordinary meeting room, and no one is asked to do anything that feels exposing in front of colleagues.
